FREE Community Sewing Club - Is temporarily closed till we find alternative premises 

Falkirk Sewing Studio's new FREE initiative, The Community Sewing Club, promotes sewing while aiming to reduce loneliness and social isolation. Come sew with us, share your thoughts and ideas, while we chat over tea or coffee, learn and meet people, share, help and collaborate while producing beautiful things. Falkirk Sewing Studios - Community Sewing Club is on every Thursday 6 pm - 8 pm at our studio at MSU3, Callendar Square Shopping Centre, High Street, Falkirk FK1 1UJ.

Whether you want to learn some new sewing and manufacturing techniques, if you are seeking inspiration, or are new to sewing or you just want to spend time with others doing what you love.  Then Falkirk Sewing Studios - Sewing Club is the perfect place for you. 

 

With an expert instructor and all materials/equipment provided, here is your chance to start up a new hobby, and improve or show off your sewing skills. This is a free initiative by Falkirk Sewing Studio to promote sewing and build a social network in the community. We welcome all and accommodate all levels from beginners to those a bit rusty and needing confidence to those wanting to take their sewing skills to the next level. It’s a good boost for confidence and a perfect environment to meet up with like-minded people. 

Why you should participate in our sewing club: 

• Build your sewing skills.

• Learn manufacturing skills, techniques and processes in sewing, cutting, textiles, fabrics, designing and upcycling.

• Develop a new hobby.

• Meet new people with an interest in sewing.

• All materials and equipment are provided.

 

OUR COMMUNITY SEWING CLUB is OPEN TO ALL. No prior experience or sewing skills are necessary.

Snacks and tea/coffee will be provided.
